Best way to learn English

Best way to learn English
The best way to any language is to spend quality time with it: listening, reading, writing and speaking.

  1. Do a test to see how much English you know.
  2. Get an English movie or video to watch.
  3. Watch the video without subtitles to the end.
  4. Estimate how much you understood, for example: 40%.
  5. Listen to the first spoken sentence in the video and try to write it down. If you can not understand it, try to listen to it several times. You can easily repeat the same sentence over and over as much many times as you want.(this step is extremely important!)
  6. Get the subtitle of the video or movie.
  7. Compare your text with the subtitle and make necessary corrections.
  8. If you are good in writing, you can print the subtitles.
  9. Use dictionary and other means to understand the sentence.
  10. Write notes about meaning and pronunciation of any word that is new.
  11. Translate the sentence into your language, try to do it yourself then compare with it with Google Translate and other translations.
  12. Now listen again to the same sentence until you recognize all words and understand it.
  13. Go to step 5 and repeat for the next sentence.
When you are done, repeat the test to see how much progress you have made.
